Now it is time for fish and other life to move into Lånåljusnan's renovated habitat. They will be allowed to do so in peace this summer!
The stretches of Långåljusnan that have been addressed through the ongoing project therefore have a special management plan that facilitates fish and other aquatic organisms to "move in" into the recreated environment. The need to do as they please and therefore applies a ban on fishing in the legs during the summer 2019.
The following sections are fishing ban all summer 2019:
- Saxvallsbron (way 84; Sågströmmen No. 44 on the map) to Rändhån (No. 45 on the map)
- From the sign about 350 meters downstream current head / Resort (No. 36 and 37 on the map) to Skälningshån (No. 43 on the map)
The ban applies to all fishing!
Come if you'd like and look at the measures implemented. You notice what has been done, even if you have not visited the area before. On the website you will find current information on how the project is run in summer.
Simply put, we have made Långåljusnan's power lines 'longer' when bends and curves are restored, converters attracts the fish to migrate, the oxygen content increases with strömbildare, new läplatser arranged to aquatic organisms, the fish's food search, rest and play and the water volume increases through deep holes for good water supply in harsher climates. The tributaries get nurseries! That's what we mean when we talk about recreating NARTURVÄRLDEN ™ in Långåljusnan!
