It is important to obtain useful information about ice mode, ways, snow asset and so on. Unfortunately it is a service that we as an association cannot live up to, Among other things for legal and security reasons. We can only refer to the information provided by authorities, eg the county board, the Swedish Traffic Agency and SMHI. Should we give out indicative information, we take on a responsibility that we cannot handle. Our information will therefore be of a general type, e.g. that we have issued a general ice warning, all fishing and all stay within the fisheries conservation area is done under your own responsibility and at your own risk and we advise against driving scooters out on the ice where there is also a risk of getting stuck.
In terms of safety, our warning applies to rapidly increased water flows in Långåljusnan downstream of Långå Kraftverk and we recommend wearing a life jacket 'properly on'!
