Today, Sweden's sport fishing celebrates- and fishery association that the union has worked for one hundred years!

Big congratulations and good luck for the next hundred years! You are needed more than ever in the future and you are well on your way to tackling the challenges that sport fishing and fisheries conservation face, writes Långåfisket in a tribute telegram to the association.

As a gift from the Långå Fishery Management Association, Helge Jonsson has handed over a business idea based on the association's promise to be a 'Fishery Management Association'. The idea is based on the experiences gained in fisheries management in Lånå and how effective association work can influence development in the desired direction. For the further processing of the idea, Helge Jonsson gives the association 100 working hours with a focus on concretizing measures that can support and simplify the country's fisheries management areas with knowledge, aids and advice. Långå FVOF and Långåfisket have been members of Sportfiskarna for several years, a membership that provides good benefits, according Helge Jonsson.

The anglers celebrate the anniversary with a seminar in Stockholm. Among the participants is the monarch, who is interested in sport fishing, Carl XVI Gustaf.
