Happy Solstice!

As if nothing had happened, midsummer is here again as it has been for billions of years and will be in all the future limited only by never ending. Throughout our lives, Midsummer is at our disposal unconcerned, proud and close. The friendly greenery has spread over the entire landscape, the flowers pour their beauty upon us and fill the air with their fragrance, the dragonflies rise from the surface of the water to for a few hours, at the end of his life, dress up for a wedding party and launch the next generation. The trout has feasted and the char has lent its color to the socks in Långåborn's national costume!

What is new this year are the gaps in the ring around the midsummer pole. On the one hand, the ring gets bigger, but the hands are not linked in the community we want to prove, use and enjoy. Two meters is not far, but distances can feel infinite in our longing for each other's closeness. It can feel weird for less.

But wait! At the same time, we discover the strength and importance of what is called tradition, that is, patterns in customs and practices, of culture and heritage, of repetition and reuse of festive mood and the sweetness of fresh joy! From the flowering period that now surrounds us, we capture new vitality and faith in the future. Now life is good!

A small virus can cause it with rarely experienced format. But the midsummer feeling in us remains, genuine as it is both for its quality and for its actual meaning.

Happy Solstice! wishes Långåfisket and all its employees.
