Right now, the process begins at the municipal level where it will be decided which ones will receive part of the village funds 2019. The County Administrative Board, that collects the applications and checks that they meet the requirements, has now passed the document on to the municipality, which is carrying out both a civil servant preparation and a process with politicians who, among other things, hold meetings with those who applied for funds for various types of investments

In August, a letter was sent to municipal councilor Anders Häggkvist where an upcoming need for a total of 1,5 million for the Långåljusnan project during 2019 and 2020. The letter was signed by Helge Jonsson and Allan Blomkvist.

The core point of the letter recalled that the building funds, which had the correct name 'regulatory agent' from the beginning, would actually be used to compensate for the damage and consequences that the power expansions entailed. Långå FVOF has also requested urban funds for upgrading the Skansdam so that it can be used for trout fry. The Fisheries Management Association has also requested a grant to, as well as the municipality, cover their costs for the Grundsjö project.

A decision on the distribution of the rural funds is expected in mid-March. Only then can Långå FVOF decide what can be remedied below 2019.
