With some exceptions, fishing has been experienced as unusually slow for a few weeks and is usually sought for explanations derived from past experiences.. Unfortunately with poor results! But a few days ago it seems that the fishing is starting to return to 'normal'’ if you can talk about it at all.
Ulrika Öberg, with roots in Långå and part-time residence, confirmed what Långåfisket can deliver with this trout 2 250 gr, taken just west of the village in Långåljusnan. Small spinner, which usually attract the trout this time of year. The fish was released unharmed!
Another sign of better times is even better that the hatches are at the level of what can be expected and Långåfisket's River Keeper and quality manager, Per-Ola Persson, reports extensive swarms of above all dragonflies and occasional 'boils’ that of grayling.
Congratulations Ulrika! And thank you very much for submitting your report! Every report matters.
