At the upper part of the middle river, approx. 250m downstream of the whitefish barrier, a fish camera is mounted. Here, camera surveillance of Mittån's fish stock takes place as part of the preliminary study regarding the whitefish barrier. The monitoring is carried out by Sportfiskarna, with the support of the County Administrative Board of Jämtland County and in collaboration with Långå FVOF and Messlingen FVOF. The monitoring will continue during the summer/autumn 2026.
