This year, Långåfisket offers fishing in Grundsjön from land from the ice floe until the whole lake is opened for fishing in midsummer. This means that 4,5 miles of beaches open for fishing.

It is allowed from 10 May to fish with a rod from land in Grundsjön. For fishing, barbless fly hooks and Catch apply&Release (catch & put back). It is allowed to keep two fish. No restrictions on whitefish. Other fish must be returned unharmed. Floating may be used within 30 meters from land.

Ordinary fishing license applies as well as Långåfisket's rules in general. Restrictions can be introduced and announced on the website www.langafisket.se. Fishing is not allowed 100 meters on each side of Anån's and Mittån's outlet either 150 meters from the tunnel outlet from Övre Särvsjön. Some restrictions may apply to use of the road network.

Restrictions should also be observed with regard to the conservation interest of Grundsjörödingen, at the same time that increased take of whitefish is welcomed.

During the summer 2020 restored streams of Långåljusnan will be closed according to the management plan so that fish and other aquatic organisms can regain their territories and habitats (habitat).

Otherwise, fishing by boat is closed in Grundsjön towards midsummer and that rule still applies. See the rules.

The action with rod fishing is carried out on a trial basis this year with evaluation and presentation of the results before the autumn meeting 2020.
