The bridge over Långåljusnan inside Långå village is now closed to traffic and will be demolished. New bridge will be in place in the spring 2028 according to the Swedish Transport Administration's plans.

This means that the traffic to Långå village and Långå Skans from the road 85 takes place through a marked exit and reference signs in Hede for traffic coming from the east and at Saxvall, west of Långå with reference signs to Långå village and Långå Skans.

The southern part of Långå village, Långå syd' is still accessible by road 85 in both directions. It is on that side of Långåljusnan that, among other things, Långå Gästi's/Jenny's cottages, Farm Smedjehögen and Lydia's cottages are located.

Långå fisheries management area with Långåfishing is thus accessible through the mentioned accesses and traffic diversion.
