Always wear a life jacket at the fording in larger, flowing water, and always when fishing from a boat, canoe, pontoon boat or float tube! The life jacket should be properly donned and should be used all the time.
Wintertime! Långåfisket offers an excellent and varied winter fishing. Especially popular is the trout fishing. Enjoy beautiful days on sjöisen! LÅNGÅFISKETS FISKEPLATSER
Mittån comes from the mountains in the western part of Härjedalen, Mittådalen, and flows into long fiskevårdsområde upstream Grundsjön and out in about Ljusnan 1 km west of Långå Redoubt, a fortress dating from 1645. Before the regulation of basic Lakes Mittån was one of the best fishing you can imagine. Mittån retains its natural course upstream Grundsjömagasinet. In Långåljusnan's currents, all trout must be released unharmed according to the strategies for the special trout project run by the Fisheries Conservation Association..
For the fly fishing stretches in Mittån and Anån, the max 2 trout per short day in the interval 25 – 45 cm. All other trout must be released unharmed. Barbed hooks.

11 Lakatjärn Ö Br
Nice water. Located in the valley between Lillfjället and Anåfjället. Lakatjärn can be accessed via the forest road that goes towards the south approximately one kilometer before Anåbron plus short hike. Lakatjärn has trout. 32 Lower Mittån Z
After force expansion and regulation of basic Lakes in the early 1970s Mittån lost its original water flow and normal conditions for the spring flood and variable flows. Today Mittån get most of their water from Unnsån and a number of streams. In trying to recreate some of the conditions for the fish, a number of measures, including in the form of twenty pools and thresholds. Some of these work much as planned. Others not. But here and there can Mittån provide an interesting trout angling with occasional opportunities to catch any large trout up to two pounds. Dappingfiske with long rod can be recommended.
33 Mittåbron. Ö

Ljusnan - Sport fishing lifeline
Ljusnan is the ninth longest river in Sweden and one of the most appreciated for its fine fishing, not least the fishing offered in Härjedalen. In an interview with the newspaper Härjedalen in May 2013 Helge Jonsson, Chairman of Långåfisket, coined the term "Ljusnan - sport fishing lifeline!”
Ljusnan begins in the headwaters west of Ramundberget in Härjedalen and after 443 kilometers reaches the Gulf of Bothnia at Ljusne in Hälsingland. Långåljusnan flows through long village, a storied cultural traditions in an ancient cultural landscape, still with a well-managed agricultural landscape.
